Scarlett Johansson was born on November 22nd, 1984 at New York City New York. She is an American actor and singer whose talents have earned her recognition in a variety of kinds of genres, from thrillers to adventure films to period dramas. Johansson was born in New York City, and raised there by her father, an architect, and mother who produced. Her twin brother Hunter and her were the youngest siblings. She began to develop an interest in acting at an early age auditioning for commercials by age seven. The passion for acting developed rapidly and she soon after in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. When she was eight, she appeared alongside Ethan Hawke in the Off-Broadway production Sophistry and, at the age of nine she made her film debut as Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson was next seen in Just Cause (1995), prior to her breakthrough with Manny & Lo - a story of two sisters and orphans, who manage to are able to escape. The Horse Whisperer (2000) where she was a teenager with a deformity caused by an accident, earned her critical acclaim. In Ghost World 2001 (as the teenager who is a cynical outcast Rebecca) Johansson was awarded an even greater amount of attention. When she was a kid Smith began to take an interest in the field of acting. Smith got her first of her acting gigs when she was just six. Smith created a commercial for Dannon. The same as other newbie actors in the same position, she honed her skills on stage. While working on different projects in the USA she also made her theatrical debut in Wildflower. She studied at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
