Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born in South London, England into an ethnically diverse family. She has a father who is Nigerian and Swiss and the mother of her is English. She went to The Brit School when she was 14. She went to an academy called the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London where she gained an BA in acting. She performed in various stages during her high time at school, including King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting career started with Storm Damage. Over the past few years Madekwe's appearance in Teachers and Doctors. Madekwe's breakout came with 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was co-starring Colin Farrell (who played the part of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. She then appeared in Elisha in the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In her role, she also played Ollie for six episodes from Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. In 2008, she got Bambi's part on the ITV2 Drama Series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. She appeared in both series 2 and 3. Madekwe was also the lead character in How to lose friends & alienate people that was aired by Sony Pictures Entertainment the year 2008. The credits on stage for Madekwe are Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe's US debut came in 2009, with her drama The Beautiful Life. The series aired only two episodes prior to being cancelled on The CW. In February of 2011 she was cast in the role of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Madekwe's exit from the series was officially announced in May of 2013. After two years as the main character she was a guest in the first episode of season three. In the television series Salem the actress played Tituba in 2014 through the year 2016. Madekwe, along with her boyfriend of many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wed in June of 2012. They have worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also played a part with her on the TV series Salem.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress, is a member of a big family from Hamilton, Ontario. Her parents, Roy and Patty and her four brothers, Brett, Todd, and Bram, were all present. Ashley's siblings, who are all sportsmen, played baseball during the summer and played hockey in winters. Ashley couldn't walk, however she was able to dance. As a result, when she turned 2, she discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley began to be a dancer after this. Ashley continued to compete through high school graduation, in top divisions such as ballet, tap, Jazz, Pointe, Acrobatics, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Hip Hop and many more. The important dance competitions, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, have awarded her the title "top Soloist".
